POLYX® SPRAYABLE HARDWAX-OIL SYSTEM

Osmo Spray-Polyx® is an oil/wax based Hardwax-Oil coating designed specifically for professional spray application through HVLP, Airless, Air-Assisted or Gravity-fed systems. Well suited to Millwork, Cabinets, Furniture and Staircases. Microporous and will not peel, crack, flake or blister. Resistant against dirt, water, wine, beer, coffee, tea, ect.

Note: The above color shades are a true likeness of the original, after application onto Oak. However, some variation may occur due to screen brightness and uploading processes. It is advisable to test colors on a small sample, as color may appear differently on other wood species.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Apply two thin coats, sanding between coats

First Coat: Apply one thin coat, allow product to dry and then lightly sand with P320 or above.

  1. Spray approx. 30-40 g/m2 onto wood surface
  2. Dust dry after approx. 2-3 hours at 20ºc or approx. 1 hour with 50ºc ambient air temperature
  3. Ready for sanding after 6-8 hours or 2-3 hours respectively
  4. Intermediate sanding P320 grit – a higher grit will produce a higher end sheen

Second Coat: Apply a second thin coat, allow to dry overnight, packaging next day.

  1. Spray approx. 30-40 g/m2 onto wood surface
  2. Dust dry after approx. 2-3 hours at 20ºc or approx. 1 hour with 50ºc ambient air temperature
  3. Clean tools with Osmo Brush Cleaner and Thinner (benzene-free)

Tip: Industrial Wood Wax Finish can be tinted (up to 10% by volume) with Osmo Wood Wax Finishes

Tip 2: Industrial Wood Wax Finish can be used like a regular wiping varnish, applied using a brush or cloth/rag.
